Next Meeting! Sunday, June 4

INCITE Boston Planning Meeting
Sunday, June 4, from 3-5 pm
Cambridge Women's Center, 46 Pleasant St., Cambridge (Central T-stop)

Join us at our next planning meeting! Childcare is available.

We will continue plans for potential organizing projects on Katrina dislocation; women prisoners; gun violence and violence against women; immigration reform; trafficking and the exploitation of women in the workplace; supporting women of color in our various movements and organizing! We will discuss holding regular potlucks to serve as a venting/support space. The meeting will begin with a presentation about direct action as a tactic.

INCITE meetings are intended to be a safe space for women of color.
Allies are warmly invited to work with us, and attend meetings on a
pre-arranged basis.

INCITE! Women of Color Against Violence is a national activist organization of radical feminists of color advancing a movement to end violence against women of color and their communities through direct action, critical dialogue and grassroots organizing.

We wish to mobilize to end all forms of violence against women of color and our communities. By supporting grassroots organizing, we intend to advance a national movement to nurture the health and well-being of communities of color. Through the efforts of Incite!, women of color and our communities will move closer towards global peace, justice and liberation.
